A Tribute to the Legacy of Black Business Awards Gala 


Nathaniel Abraham Sr.
Nathaniel Abraham , Sr. a sharecropper's son from Orangeburg, SC and a Civil Rights advocate, moved to Columbia in 1963 and launched a career in the newspaper industry. "Nat" as he is affectionately called, has a long working history with community leaders to empower others. He has used his more than 52 years of news media service as a platform to be a champion for the underdog and help those whose voices otherwise would not be heard. Nathaniel Abraham, Sr. has retired and currently resides in Fort Mill, SC.

 Currently, Carolina Panorama Newspaper is under leadership of the next generation, Nathaniel Abraham, Jr. Nate uses the Carolina Panorama Newspaper as ground for economic growth to showcase small businesses that otherwise would not be seen. Nate has featured more than 400 small businesses with his  Community Business of the Week column. Nate says, "If you're in business, we need to know about you."  


The Carolina Panorama Newspaper keeps the community connected.    The newspaper is a resource guide of useful information, community activities and profiles of individual and youth achievements and success

Carolina Panorama's mission is to report "Positive News for A Positive Community" while bringing value to businesses and families.
